As the title says, it´s not trials.

I made a three week roadtrip a little while ago. It was pretty exciting: I did two demos for a friend who was busy with rocking a WorldCup. It turned out great and I managed to make a new personal record sidehopping over a bar in front of a huge crowd. The roadtrip ended at the Worlds where I met with my girlfriend. Like on every roadtrip, a lot of memorable things and advenures happended and I share this one with you:

During my stay in Innsbruck I visited Christina and Thom. Thom is a former employee of me and became a very good friend.

The original idea was to also get footage for the GETcreative comp. Well that didn´t really work out, which sucks, because I had a few ideas..., but I made this. They shred their hometrail, which is a nice descent that ends in front of their house. With Thom being an ex sous-chef of a famous restaurant, they supplied me and another friend of mine with finest Israelian food, homemade pasta, good wine and... well we had our fun til the morning. Usually their wind dog is out with them, but she isn´t the best in terms of taking commands from a hung over guy with a camera shouting into a walkie talkie.

Interesting sidenote for the tech geeks: Thom designed and built the bike of Christina completly by himself. He did all the fancy math, the welding, the milling... the guys from Schwalbe, tune and Kalle Nikolai helped out with material and knowledge. Meanwhile he even got a demaged but working CNC-mill, which used to be more than half a million euro, for free. Thom is without a doubt one of greatest persons I ever met.
