bagre15
I've just bought a new echo disc brake and some hope standard pads. I rode my bike for about two hours, and dind't manage to make the brake hold. Any ideas on what should I do? Sorry for the bad english
SamKidney
Are you using the Echo TR disc rotor? Edited September 29, 2012 by Echo Lite

SamKidney
Yep TR rotors can take a good while to bed in, assuming there was no contaminants on the pads/disc when fitted. Just a case of time and patience, or get a hope rotor on there. Edited September 29, 2012 by Echo Lite

Mike Winton.
Definitely do not bleed it with water. just find a bid hill and ride down it feathering the brake maybe put some clean water on the rotor too that usually helps a bit.
