davidbarr
Recently got a pair of adidas terrex solos. Not ridden in them much yet but so far they have proven to be very good. Really grippy with a nice stiff cushioned sole. Really good quality shoes overall.

krazykid009
5.10 Danny Macs. The Spitfires never were much good for riding in, I went through 4 pairs in as many months!

N.Wood
No worries. Anyways, where did your fivetens split? I have used the Freerunners for a few years now, and recently got the canvas BMX shoes from CRC as they look 48594857 times better than anything else they do, and seem great. Trials-Mikey
they split on the sole where the balls of my feet are, have you tried the canvas shoes
Joe Papasnap Maher
I have Terrex Solo's. Best shoes ive ever rode in.
N.Wood
they split on the sole where the balls of my feet are, have you tried the canvas shoes Yeah thats what I use as the Terrex Solo's I got are a tad too small, and couldn;t get a colour I liked in my size. I like them, less stiff than the solo's but stiffer than my freerunners.
Trials-Mikey
I have Terrex Solo's. Best shoes ive ever rode in. joe they look pretty awesome but they dont look very grippy
isitafox
I usually ride in Duffs as they're super grippy and you can pick them up on ebay for about £17 a pair, had my last pair for almost a year now and tend to wear them everyday as well as for riding in. Might have to look into a pair of those Terrex Solos for myself next time though, how would you reckon they'd last in day to day use? Cousins missus works for Adidas so I should be able to pick up a pair at cost!
Joe Papasnap Maher
Not had a shinny with them yet!! Defo grippy! I ride..enough..( and have had them about 2 months )and they dont even look like ive taken them out of the box.
isitafox
Hmmm, will make an enquiry. Going off her usual timescale I could probably expect a pair for next christmas!
ULtrialsguy
Accidently posted in the second thread so in case no one bothered reading that one. I recommend Fiveten barons. Thats what I've had since christmas, literally wearing them everyday and riding trials, DH and xc regularly and they are still holding up great. Should last me the rest of the year. hypermobilty
I've allways worn vans I went through the sole before any stitching came apart or glue lasted me 2-3 years riding near enough every day But im going back a few years now I don't now if they are still as good
liam n
Any 5.10s, i have line kings and they're great, better than ribos. my old free riders were great but, the sole was glued on separately (not moulded so they were much weaker.) but they've changed the design on the new ones. Matthew62
fiveten freeriders for me. Ride both trials and trails in them and after a good old while (and currently being my only riding shoes) they still look fairly new despite plenty of use. The sole is holding up well and the upper material is perfect. I couldn't really imagine using anything else now as their grip is like nothing I've used before and they've lasted plenty of foot braking on street and lots of soggy Scottish MTBing so don't think you can go too far wrong. Matthew_Gibson
I have a pair of Ribos and there comfy, I got them off here and they looked brand new, used them every time I ride, they do need replacing as they have got a split but that doesn't really matter much to me.
