Jake.
Kurbs are fine, practise trackstanding. Pedal kicks if possible? Also trials bikes depreciate a lot, so you could get a very good spec bike second hand compared what you'd spend on a similar one new. Mr.Skyraw
were can I find second hand bikes? For me that might be a problem, as I live in america. :/
Jake.
Some members on this forum may be happy to post there, but expect additional postage fees.

Revolver
Check out OTN, it's based more on your side of the Atlantic.
Ben Gosden
Hit the local street's if your a bit of a newbie, just practicing with things such as curbs, slopes and even the smallest of walls is great for learning nearly all techniques. If you are new to the sport than personally i wouldn't go and splash the cash on getting a koxx fox because you might find it to be a waste as you might find that you dont like trials but if you have the money and thats what you want then no body's going to stop you Good luck pal
clerictgm
I have no real trials or mountain bike history, I will take any advice anyone want to give me, I am curently riding a bike that i kinda pieced together and its really heavy and just not good at all (Im saving up for the Koxx Fox) i would just like to get some advice also what obsticles can i build to practice on, thanks. I don't think Koxx is good for a newbie. It's comp bike for pro's with ideal skills and stability. The one advice I could give - ride for fun, do only what you enjoy. Don't force yourself and don't listen anybody, especially those who will try to teach you what you should or shouldnt learn on bike. Mr.Skyraw
I have been looking at bikes and i think i like the onza bird, also i found out there is a trials shop in a town just to the east of mine, so i might go there to find a bike. VAMPIRE V12
Hey man! Welcome to trials btw Take a look at the onza zoot 24'' street trials its a really good starter bike and you can upgrade it to make it quite a nice bike, it gives you a bit of streety moves mixed in with a bike that can still do a bit of pure trials
