clerictgm
Today I have a frist ride on my new Marino. On my previous bike (because 24) with setted up Inspired Element fork center of mass of my bike became exactly in the middle of bike. And I liked it so much! Bunny hops and pedal-ups was so easy to do! 90s and 180s also became easier to do. Now I have Marino and unfortunately(?) center of mass is closer to the back now. And I feel like I want to get center of mass like it was on because with element forks - right in the middle. Is it really matters or not? clerictgm
Because Trial Was: 1060 367 +65 72° stem 150-30 Marino is: 1035 375 +30 73° stem 100-30 Edited September 12, 2012 by clerictgm
FamilyBiker
you changed a trials oriented frame for a streety one.youll never get the same feeling out of it unless youll put something like a 150x30on,and that would ride awful on a street frame. get used to it,ride flowy and spinny,or switch back to a frame like your old one.my opinion. clerictgm
But with Marino geo bunny hops and 180s must be easier to do.
N.Wood
It'll take some time to get used to? You've gone from polar opposite frames, don't expect it to be handed to you on a plate.
LEON
What they said....plus, your back end is pretty short, compared to your top tube which is pretty long for a street bike to get a wb of 1035. You've basically just taken an inch off the top tube, but stretched the chainstays 10mm longer, so yeah your weight is gonne be more over the rear now, the shorter your top tube...the further back your weight is. My Marino chainstays are the same as yours, but my wb is 995mm. You should try THAT! lol. Edited September 12, 2012 by LEON
