CalRobbo341
Looks good! What spray paint did you use for the front wheel?
bing
It was UPol black, got it from wilco motosave at the bottom of my street. Was £6 I think. Yeah the saints are epic, only gave £100 for them with the ice tech rotors, and the rear was only a couple of rides old when I got it as the lad who I bought them from had it replaced under warranty after a leak. It's added a small amount of weight to the build, but when they are this good i don't care
Jake.
Not seen a 180mm rear rotor on mod before, must be good.
dezmtber
i had a quick go the other day. these brakes are soo bloody sharp, even sharper than my hope trial zones. i cant wait to see how well the hold up to comp use
Azarathal
You probably wouldn't notice any difference in power with 160's, the 180's will be easier to hit, add weight and have more leverage to snap the disc mounts
bing
seriously? there is 10mm more disc hanging down, and I don't care about the weight when they are this good. it'll be 100 grams at the most. and I side hop the other way anyway. and if I break the blade frame, and old school urbans, I'll be very surprised. the mount on the frame is 10mm thick

dann2707
Bites like a maggy. Absolutely love them
dezmtber
Beats maggy, bites like maggy with braded hoses 3 boosters on a fresh grind on a hot dry day. Only discs do this when its pissing it down in winter

bing
Just a quick update, I've sandblasted my bash at work, it was gold but now its rawed, and I've changed the forks from my urbans which are of more use to Sam kidney than me, and I got some zoo disk forks in black in return. Also I've changed my front wheel to a trialtech rim on a pro 2 hub, because my old try all rim was buckled to f**k, and the threads on the disk flange on the hub have 3 stripped threads. I've also taken the onza logo off the stem. I'm also gonna take the hub to work, and get the axle tapped to do away with the qr skewer. bing
Done some more stuff Changed the disks to aztec's, mainly for lightness but they also look quite good, gone down to a 160 on the rear with a cnc hope bracket, and put ashima organic pads in front and rear. I've upgraded to a tryall stiky light rear tyre, its well grippy, and got a brand new 2.1 small block 8. The fatter tyre is loads better on the front. Got some new forks off dann2707, think they are viz disk/vee forks, they are a lot lighter than the zoo forks I had on before, and they have a longer steerer so i can have a reasonably high front end. Sprayed my front wheel as well so from a distance you can't tell its had a grind, and also have a Euan Beaden special pro2 front axle. Rides amazing now Edited February 17, 2013 by bing
