shansen Posted September 10, 2012 Report Share Posted September 10, 2012 (edited) hey guys i know bb7 is the easyest break to set up but when i slap an 160mm disk on the front of my onza zoot i can only get half of the pads to toutch the disk is the fork made for 180mm only ive tryed fliping the adaptor both ways dont know what i can do really.... thanks seb. Pete.M Posted September 10, 2012 Report Share Posted September 10, 2012 I think Avid uses odd sizes, like 165mm rotors, and therefore need the correct avid mounts to suit. shansen Posted September 10, 2012 Author Report Share Posted September 10, 2012 yeah i used all the things that came in the box with the rotors and mounts that followed im running 180 for the back and 160 for the front and the back one i can adust because of the mounts on the frame, like side the capliper up and down but the front one i cant adust on the forks, so i dont know ill try upload some pics tomorrow it looks odd though Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
liam n Posted September 10, 2012 Report Share Posted September 10, 2012 sounds like you need a different adapter. is it definitely a 165mm front adapter your using? these forks may have a +20 adapter mount in which case you need a different adapter again.
