BenWortley
Right people! Don't just come to Radical Bikes just for Radfest!! There open ever weekend (unless of bad weather!) so just come down or if it's to far make a weekend of it and camp! Just make sure it's okay with Mick or Maria! I hope to see some more people down there! It's a great place to ride and you won't regret going!! Here's the website which has all the info! http://www.radicalbikes.co.uk/ See you all some time soon Ben
BradJohnson
You should do RadFest twice a year , i understand it takes a lot of organising, but i don't think radical bikes would be the same atmosphere without all the other people there. CalopS
Are you getting free entry for this post or something?
BenWortley
No because it would be to much! And it's a festival so course there is going to be more of an atmosphere! But it is a great place that is not being used enough! I pretty much live there and I love every minute of being there! I think it's fine to ride if it's just you or 10 people! All I'm saying is that people should take alot more advantage of this amazing place! The Michell family put so effort in to making it bigger and better that people should be coming down to not only ride it also helps then keep it running! So it's a win win situation! No I'm not getting free entry! Infact I go every weekend and help out when needed! I just want to help out to try and get more people down!

BradJohnson
It's not really worth me travelling 300 miles to get there, if there isn't a load of people there.
BenWortley
Shamefully we cant do that but like i said, you can make a full weekend out of it! just ask Mick Or Maria if its okay to camp by calling Radical Bikes!its personal choice im just trying to get some more people down! thats all! if its too far away just come for Radfest but if you live a few hours away and you dont want to come you should! just make a weekend out of it! Andeee
I have already made a weekend of it after going to radfest 2012 which I enjoyed. Was only about 2 n half or 3 hour drive which was worth it. Just a shame there isn't something up this way
BradJohnson
We definitely need something further up north .

BenWortley
Glad you enjoined coming down here! and yeah maybe some one should sort something out up north!?
dann2707
Thing is it takes quite a bit a time and dedication to set up and maintain. Who would watch over it? Especially when people have full time jobs. This is why we should get old people to do it, they just sit around in homes not doing much. And knit.
Laurence--Trials
They should make this into a business so there are a few barrow farms around the country.

CalRobbo341
All we need is 3 abandoned air hangers, spread over the UK, filled with logs, tyres, blocks, telephone boxes ect, that have a hotel built on top of them and a train line linked under neath them for fast traveling! Should only cost about 3 billion pounds..
BenWortley
Cheers Ben glad you enjoyed your self! And Rob maybe one day haha, maybe see you soon Ben. It is a business already but it's community run! Mick and Maira don't get any wages from Radical Bikes they do it out of choice! They both have full time jobs! Carlperkins
yeah i only live an hour and a half away from barrow, me and a few mates usually load up the cars at 8am and head down there for the day on sundays. weve camped a few times and its brilliant. will be camping more often next summer if i have my camper on the road, i can see peoples point of view, if i lived any more that 1.5 hours away i wouldnt bother. cant understand why people say the atmosphere isnt as good as radfest? surely if your going with a bunch of mates, camping, drinking and riding bikes .. surely thats good enough? barrow is mint. Mark W
It's not really worth me travelling 300 miles to get there, if there isn't a load of people there. It's only 240 from the Middlesbrough area, which is 25miles less than it is from here and I still made it down I went down with Ali and we met Bessell and Joe there and had an awesome time. You don't need a hundred people there to have fun, just you, your friends and your bike is it really. If you want to get baller you can get a BBQ involved or whatever, but you don't necessarily have to. As has been said too, you can get some camping done if you check first. The whole friends + bikes + good stuff to ride thing is always a good time anyway, but if you add shit like camping/destroying food with fire to it it can only improve the overall experience. Difference is, you/ali can drive.
