Shark
Ive been thinking this for a while. When people pedal up do they lift the front wheel with the bad foot kick and then lift the whole bike with the right foot kick? Thats what Trashzen says but it looks like some people do it just with the right foot kick? I hope you understand what i mean.
isitafox
Yes you lift the front with your bad foot, otherwise your just kicking into a backhop and hopping straight up which takes a lot more effort.
CalopS
I've always done it with a full pedal but I think you can get more power with a half pedal. You can start closer to the wall as well.
Carlperkins
yeah do half a crank with the bad foot to lift the wheel then the other half with the right foot to jump up with the bike. when people just do the right half turn and jump up stuff.. they are manualing into it. therefore they dont need the initial half turn to lift the front. hope this helps
FamilyBiker
yeah do half a crank with the bad foot to lift the wheel then the other half with the right foot to jump up with the bike. when people just do the right half turn and jump up stuff.. they are manualing into it. therefore they dont need the initial half turn to lift the front. hope this helps from standing still to up i use badfoot-goodfoot method. tried goodfoot only and it feels kinda"narrow" if that makes sense. so thats right, its more manualling into it with goodfoot only... Carlperkins
yeah manual into it, then when your front wheel is nearly on the wall, good foot = up. thats the theory.. i dont know how to do it. i cant manual haha. i do badfoot-goodfoot whether from a standstill or moving.
