Jake.
Eh fair enough, they seem to like copying koxx. That is one ugly as disc mount, isn't it on the wrong side too? Edited September 4, 2012 by JMCD
kurtis G
It is a bionic b5r. Other parts, echo sl forks, try all cranks, viz 72 free wheel, echo tr rims and hubs. Front magura disc and rear rim brake i would go for a Echo SL freewheel if i were you. my friend had a vis and it skipped within the first week. TheLeroyHUK
the stregntheners before the 4-bolt mounts are the same as a speedrace fans:P it's like all bits of expensive bikes stuck together...
Blake
yeah don't touch a viz free wheel like Kurtis G said, horrible bits of poo. If you're on a bit of a budget a tensile 60Click is a very reliable freewheel when you bed them in properly.

Carlperkins
looks pretty good. should have gone with lighter cranks and lighter tyres IMO. try all rear, small blok 8 front tyres. would have saved alot of weight.
howvard
"not forking out mega money" o.O tryall elite wheelset 'new' its gunna be dual disc sooooo you going hopes?? This is gunna be one sweeet build though. Should have gone for the lighter tyres though, I regret just sticking with creepys
holymush
I could of saved a fair bit of weight, But as I've been building I've noticed heavier = cheaper and lighter = really quite expensive. Its got some nice bit and some not so nice bits, but all in with buying some tools and little bits i didn't have, im close to 1000 pound mark so for now this will do nice Did make a post about brakes, was looking at mt 2's couple people rated, no one slated so as far as i can work out they good for the money. if anyone knows different say so and i'l look into something different Mike
howvard
The mt 2's should be fine, i'm running dual Magura Marta sl's and they work fine, designed for super light xc bikes but still have a great hold on them. So the mt 2's being more trials specific should be sweet. Also can't help but thinking it may have been better to just buy a full bike second hand, or even new of tarty?? xTrials_Rider
i have an mt2 on the front of my stock i run a 203mm rotor, power is amazing and lever feel is really really nice mate, well worth the price, i had a hope tech 203mm and the mt2 is actually stronger, it feels stronger and with better hold anyway, hope this helps you pal
holymush
Yeh a second hand or full build from tarty would have been the sensible option but this way is far more exciting. And allowed me to spread the cost and not have to save...I can't save lol. Thanks for the brake info, think ins get a set and see howi like it
Jake.
You say lighter is more expensive, the front kenda tyre is only £15?
