One x deffo. Best mates got the S2 and it seems outdated already. Mine wipes the floor with it.

Or if you think the one x is too big get the one S.

I've got it and its incredible. So fast. Battery life is great considering, the screen is perfect size, its just amazing.

I would have the HTC out of the two. I would even have one over a galaxy s3. The HTC is much better looking, just as fast in my experience and they don't feel cheap and nasty like all samsung phones do.

EDIT: However like dann2707, if the one x is too big (which in my opinion it is, 4.7in screen is just too big for a mobile phone) go for the one s. 4.3inch screen, which is about as the max size I think a phone should have and the aluminium unibody makes it feel really nice and top end. It would be the phone I would get if I wanted an android phone.

EDIT AGAIN: Also out of all the people I know with a top end samsung phones, their battery will not get them through a day of average usage.

Ones got more cores for gaming or something and the screen is different.

But as the one s requires less processing power it turns out to be faster, don't believe the hype that more cores makes it faster. The different screen type and larger screen makes it not faster.

Google one s vs one x you'll find loads of links xoxoxo

Also looks sexy as hell with a green case around it :P

I find the 'Core' helps when your multi-tasking.

How would you describe your average day usage?

Errrrm, well not HEAVY. In the morning about 30 mins surfing forums/facebook and generally catching up on what i've missed while sleeping!

At work 9-5:30 the odd check up. then in the evenings a fair bit of usage, forums again gaming while adverts/soaps are one.

Now and again I'll get to bed at 11pm and still have 30% battery left.

EDIT: The oneX is meant to have a dreadful battery compared to the S3.

Can someone explain to me why spend so much money on a mobile phone? What do you guys use them for? I seriously cannot understand it. Mine does all I need it to and I think it's already pretty dated by today's standards but not once in the past year have I considered replacing it because it's just brilliant. It's a Desire Z or something like that. In what practical way is say an S3 / One X / [insert random characters here] better than my phone?

It can do more at once, faster.

Yeah, will do more faster as Aii_ says.

They look better, perform better and are in every way better than the old banger androids.

If tech/gadgetry aint' yo thang, you're not going to understand really.

I would hate to have a phone that I would have to charge every day. With that kind of usage, my phone will last about 2 days before it drops to around 20% and my phone is supposed to have quite a bad battery life reputation (iphone 3gs). With my average use though, I can get about 4 days out of my phone before it needs charging as my usual phone usage it just texts, calls and 10-20 mins using wifi/3g. Maybe it is the way I charge batteries. For instance, I never leave it charging over night and I usually do a full charge cycle from around 15-20% when I can.

I guess the same could be said about the money we spend on our bikes. Why spend £400 on an inspired fourplay frame when you can get an onza zoot frame for £235? They both are capable frames, but you know one is better and that is why people want it.

Ever since my iPhone 4s I've had to charge every night. Even if it's down to 30% I'll plug it in.

Keep in mind one thing that has been delayed since launch is the wireless charging pad for the S3, looking forward to that.
