clerictgm
So i can swap my 2.5 year old Because 2010 frame to Marino, but Marino was welded. Here the pics. Is it SO bad or not? Edited August 31, 2012 by clerictgm
Ben Gosden
Well you gotta think that its going to be weaker than before but yet if the welder has done a good job really it should be fine. I'd suggest finding out how the frame was originally damaged because it may be a case of a weak frame but i'd imagine it was because of a different cause. CalRobbo341
But then again it is steel, which in some ways is much better than your typical alu frame. Shouldnt be a problem wbout the weld, it's going to be more about the geo diffrence.
Luke Rainbird
It's steel - don't worry about the weld at all
SamKidney
It'l be fine. Probably more durable than your because.
bike_dummie
I'd swap if i were in your position as I doubt your because frame has that much life left in it after 2.5years and a Marino being made out of steel can be repaired as many times as you like unlike the because being alloy cannot.
