isitafox
I'm in the process of putting together some disc brakes and I'm slightly confused as to how I'm gonna go about bleeding them properly. The problem is the calipers have a bleed bolt like a rim brake that just unscrews and the levers have a reservoir like a hope so how do I go about setting them up? I'm not very clued up on disc brake bleeding but I'm thinking that I should remove the reservoir cover on the lever then attach a syringe to the caliper and bleed the fluid up from there, when there's no bubbles coming out give the caliper and lever a tap to get any last bits out then replace the reservoir cover, then I assume I'll be able to unscrew the hose from the syringe and replace the bleedbolt?? Or will this just cause the fluid to come running out?? Bit of a pain in the arse really running 2 different systems like that but I've heard the 2 together work really well.
