Kieran Morrison
My mates having problems with his 05 maggy (using 2011 slave cylinders). When he pulls the brake, the lever comes back fine when he lets go, but the piston inside comes down very slowly and the pistons in the slave cylinders do the same (one is worse than the other). We've bled it a few times properly and it has gotten worse after each bleed. Whats the problem and how do we fix it? Thanks
trials owns
Sounds like the piston in the lever, Get a new seal for it to try first, If not get a new piston kit from someone! The cylinders wont move in quick if the piston up the lever Aint free enough. Well if thats what u mean anyway? trials owns
Is the piston in the lever slow returning? (Thats what i was trying to get at lol), Are you defo sure its bled properly? Put some lube on the cylinders (the bit that pushes the pads out) and give the leaver a good pump and see if it improves things
Kieran Morrison
Yeah the lever pistons slow returning haha, would lubing that be a good idea?
onza pro series guy
Sounds to me like you've got a leak in the system or that your bleeds are horse-shit lol! When you pull the leaver in do the pads move in imediately (and/or in time with the lever)?

D Rock 45
could the sping in the lever be squashed to much ?
SamKidney
Get the piston out, give it a light sanding with some wet and dry paper, new o ring, and reinstall. Little tip; I use plain vaseline to coat the pison and its o ring. Slows water absorbtion to the piston (which causes swelling, which could well be the case here) and keeps everything smooth and free moving. Same for the slaves pistons too
