ChrisTrials2012
I need a bit of help with gapping, as per the title. When I started gapping, about a month ago, I just pedal kicked as hard as possible, and that sort of did the trick. But now I've started to preload massively and pedal kick less, which is good. But if I pinch while I preload, I end up kneeing the stem and landing short. Any tips? I'll try to get a vid of my technique up very soon
Revolver
How long's your stem? I found myself kneeing my bars on a shorter stemmed bike.
Monkeymusmax
i would try more dropping the front end and what i sometimes do is turn the bike slightly to get the back wheel further onto whatever your doing and try watching lots of videos and try to pick up lots different riding styles. hope this helps... ChrisTrials2012
How long's your stem? I found myself kneeing my bars on a shorter stemmed bike. My stem is the trialtech high rise(130mm,30degrees) on an ozonys cannibal My bet is you push the rear wheel down instead of back and down,so basically your lear wheel goes down faster than you can control. yeah, maybe. I don't try to pinch so I probably don't expect it and can't compensate for the downwards motion Edited August 18, 2012 by ChrisTrials2012
