Nannerman
Hi, Just a quick question. I'm changing my brake pad refills (from belaeys to LGMs). Both refills are glued into the backings. Will boiling the pads to get the refills out damage the pad compound at all? Also, are there any tips to doing this? Thanks!
ooo
I think putting them in the oven at 150 for 10 minutes is the usual way.
Nannerman
I think I'll try that. Thanks!
ClarkeHutchison
Yep the oven technique is much easier, just don't be an idiot like me and pick up the metal backing that you have just taken out of the oven and get a nasty burn.
