Joshm1991
Hey peeps!! I've recently bought a DJ frame and built it up using some old Rock Shox Dart 1 forks that I had lying around but after using them for a bit with the preload wound right off, they're just not soft enough to absorb any heavy landings.. I do a mix of dirt jumps, street and BMX so I land to flat quite often!! I'm looking into getting some air forks so I can adjust the pressures in them to suit what I'm doing but there is so many to choose from and I can't decide!! I have a budget of about 250 to 300 quid but as always, if something comes highly reccomend, I might stretch the budget a little!! Hopefully someone can help me choose some decent ones or just reccomend ones that might suit my riding style!! It would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance people!! Tomm
BMX don't have any suspension? Anyway, I wouldn't want to use Dart forks for that type of riding either. Not because they're not active enough, but because I value my face. Marzocchi DJ1 or DJ2, RS Argyle etc. Should easily get something second hand for £200. I'd think about getting a bolt-through setup though - I.e. maybe budget for a new front wheel too
ZeroMatt
Got an Argyle 409 pretty much unused for sale for about £230 if you're interested.
