Apart from get him drunk and get a stripper?! He wants to go abroad, and kinda settled on Amsterdam. But I just don't want to get there, get drunk, come home. kinda boring to me. I was thinking of doing something closer to home, up in Edinburgh. or some where up there? any good thing to do up there? Or can anyone give me a hand, ideas. past experiences? Matthew_Gibson Posted August 14, 2012 Author Report Share Posted August 14, 2012 Ive been there on the ferry before. it was hell! but thats because we went in January! once we were there it was a laugh. didnt really drink too much as it was so expensive. Suppose if I sort thigs out now, can have 2 dos though! Ill have good crack with him at the weekend and see what he thinks. There is about 15 of us going though! thats the thing thats putting me off! N.Wood Posted August 15, 2012 Report Share Posted August 15, 2012 Depends what you like doing but things like renting a big cottage down in Cornwall / Fly to Jersey/Guernsey and do some group activities like all learning to surf or go karting or hire a boat and get drunk on that or cliff diving might be good? One of my mates rented a yacht with about 15 of them on it and sailed from portsmouth to the isle of wight and back, getting drunk en route and going out in portsmouth / IOW at night. If you just go out on the piss you risk the 'so what did you do on your stag do? f**k all, got pissed'.
