James281098
That's looks identical to my mk1, looks good . One thing I noticed is your chain? does it not matter if you run it that loose?

Christiaan
I`ve ordered a Marino last februari with the intention to build a new bike. Than came across a secondhand fourplay in mint condition and decided to buy that aswell The mk2 fourplay is already a big improvement over the mk1. But when my Marino arrives I will put all the parts of the fourplay on the Marino. Changed the saddle, handlebar, chain and pedals of the mk2 so far.
James281098
Hi, as I know you did it in the past how does a spoke tensioner work I know that it is a spoke but what does it attach to ect? (Stay in place)
isitafox
You have to poke one end somewhere in the dropout (mk1 Fourplays had a perfect spot for this), wrap it around the axle a few times then bend it down into the chain and just bend the end up slightly so it doesn't dig into the links and get stuck. There is a topic somewhere with some pictures.

CalopS
They are good in that they are cheap to replace but not great for going up and down stairs!

Christiaan
I don`t agree on the stairs comment. When you do it right it can take anything without jumping off, chainslap of whatever. I never had any problems with mine. Pretty happy with the tensioner on my current bike aswell only thing is the derailleur hanger seem to be made out of cardboard. isitafox
You should have seen the really crappy bodge job I made up out of plastic RC car bits. Somehow survived riding a comp at Fort William through river sections and in the rain then fell to bits on a street ride in Sheffield!
