koxxboy14
Hi, Basically have got the try-all ISIS cranks in silver, but need them black. So how would I go about spraying them black? If I just applied spray paint surely it would flake off? Any help would be good Cheers

BradJohnson
spray paint doesn't flake off, it rubs off like anyother type of paint, just spray them ?

Leeeeee
PRIMER IT FIRST!!!! well after you have sanded it so its rough or scratched then primer it with grey primer then spray black If you want it to last ages coat it 3 times then lacquer it 2-3 times but only if u want it to last
315r
Sadly, I always had bad experiences sprayin things. Not a good idea IMO. Edited August 6, 2012 by 315r
ogre
cranks will get smacked about like f**k, don't bother with primer or much prep, just give them a thorough cleaning and spray them with reasonable quality paint; several light coats (your first coat shouldn't leave the cranks solid black, just dusted...) rinse and repeat, then touch up as appropriate..
