dann2707
I'm not sure what i've pressed but i'm using chrome and youtube video plays no sound, neither does TV catchup or anything like that. Last week I intalled Adblock beta plus and this youtube extension that shows you how good youtube vids are before you click on them (really good extension btw) Winamp plays sound fine as does counter strike so it's like browser based? Nothing is muted bottom right, please help me Cheers !!

CalRobbo341
I dont use chrome anymore, idk why, just stopped, maybe there is an update somewhere, or a driver update may be needed, doubt it though.

Yeah, I'd say it's most likely an Adobe Flash driver that has shat itself..

Sponge
Don't mean to hijack this thread, but my computer has a similar problem where its general audio (and also youtube video stream) lag, so everything sounds and streams really choppy. Any advice would be very appreciated!
TROYston
Ah this happened to one of my mates, go too http://usenet-hd-movies.com/f.php?m=m&id=4f2654r879m0782&movid=Lost+%282004%29. right-click the video go to settings click microphone, make sure that the mic out-put is selected and not your line-in. Chrome likes to change that. We done that, a week later 99% of videos would play sound but the video its-self is just a black box. Try un-installing and then re-install if all else fails. Oh another thing! if facebooks installed that video crap (check your add/remove programs) get rid of it, mine, and 3 other mates chrome(s?) didn't like it one bit.
