trials owns
Just a quicky, Got my new bike insured today and ready to tax it when i get the insurance papers come through. Currently SORN. Do i just walk down to the post office and get it taxed? Or do i have to do something else? Cheers
forteh
You need the tax or sorn declaration form, insurance certificate (not a cover note) and a valid mot, if youve had the bike for a while you should be able to do it online even though you dont have the paper copy of the insurance yet. You will have to wait for the disk through the post though unless you want to risk not displaying.

RobinJI
With a car you can use the V5 (or new keepers supplement) in place of the tax/sorn declaration form, I'd guess it's probably the same deal with a bike.
