murph82
thanks. My searches kept bringing up dead links to sunn bikes for some reason!
murph82
i got the frame yesterday. It's got replacable drop outs? What's the practical use of these? I get the mech sidebut what's the idea with the non drive side? Also does anyone know if aftermark horizontal dropouts are available? Much prefer them my I've had them on my echo! SamKidney
The only reason I can think of is to prolong the life of the frame. If your frame had conventional dropouts and the cracked/ snapped, its game over. If they crack on yours, you can replace them.
Alex Dark
I was going to make some horiz dropouts for my mates premier but we decided it wasn't worth the hassle. I assume it's so you can convert between the two?
murph82
Yeah. I prefer not having a tensioner flapping about and the cleaner look of nod stock frames. Vanity more than anything with a little performance in mind!Alex, did you get my Pm's?
