D Rock 45
the larger diameter of the rotor, the more force that is available to stop you yeah the bigger the better, as said. i was beat in a after post Edited July 29, 2012 by D Rock
SamKidney
200mm would be fine on a 24. I used to run a 185mm on my mods.
Jake.
Pretty sure Laurence-trials off this forum has a 180 and that looks huge. But it doesn't matter, bigger the better really. Edited July 29, 2012 by JMCD

Laurence--Trials
Pretty sure Laurence-trials off this forum has a 180 and that looks huge. But it doesn't matter, bigger the better really. I did have. I'm now running a 203mm with a shimano saint, ultimate stopping power, 203 all the way, you wont regret a thing! i got massive amounts of power over my 180 rotor in comparison. Get one. Now. looks wize i also think it looks amazing, better than the 180, i was skeptical about the weight and looks but when you have that much power the weight doesn't matter and looks it actually looks decent. ok i was just wondering as i found a cheap monotrial but id need a 200mm rotor would i catch it on stuff ? I've never caught any rotors on anything i've run 160 on a mod for a year 180 on the 24" for a year and now running 203 on the 24" never hit any front disc rotors. Dont worry about that. I side hop disc side too. Edited July 30, 2012 by Laurence--Trials

williams
The only thing that would be a "problem" is that your bigger rotor would be longer away from the hub which makes more stopping power. BUT that means that the fork (which is a sl one?) have to take the more pressure from your brake. Which basically means a shorter life of the fork. Correct me if im wrong.
