SamKidney
Doesnt look too bad! Its had crank, chain and freewheel upgrades, set of maguras that look in decent condition, and has a decent bar and stem, although you may want to change the bars for something with a nicer shape/ feel. There appears to be a chain tug missing on the left frame dropout, you'll want to get one on to stop your wheel shifting in the frame while you ride. By the look of it it looks in an all round decent condition, and the asking price doesnt look too far off. If you have the money, go for it. But try get it a little lower, make an offer at around £190. The worst the seller can do is say no. If so, raise your offer until a deal is struck. They're very good bikes to start out on, and with a few small changes, like some lighter forks and some nicer bars you'll have a bike that will feel nice to ride too, but they can be added when you can afford them/ feel you need them or want them. Good luck! Edited July 29, 2012 by Echo Lite
Jake.
No.... It's not worth it. Because you can get better bikes for that money, and more recent ones. I'd pay max 180 for that though, but I agree with Echo Lite ^ about the changes of bike parts. Edited July 29, 2012 by JMCD
