Canardweb
Hello everyone. I am hesitating between two forks for my next stock build. The frame is silver with a silver headset and I have the choice between the Trialtech forks (in black color) and the Rockman forks (in silver color). I'd like to know which one you'd choose and please tell me why you would choose one over the other. Don't think about the price as it's not what worries me in the choice I have to make. Thanks for your input! Edited July 29, 2012 by Canardweb

BradJohnson
I like loads of black bits then a color frame and rim tape. It's personal prefrence really.
Canardweb
Well I'll have silver frame, silver crank, silver brakes, silver rims and spokes but black hubs, black freewheel, black stem and black handlebars. So what do you think???

SamKidney
I was in the same boat but Ive decided on Trialtechs. Stiffer and stronger. You can always raw them if you fancy too, getting the best of both.

Canardweb
Have you ever heard of a broken Rockman Spade forks? Or Trialtech? After how much time and where? Thanks to all again
Alex Dark
Trialtechs ive seen a couple of pictures of them going at the HS mounts, and a fair few of the rockmans dying at the steerer. The above problems could well have been cured by the latest iterations of both products
J.KYDD
Me, Joe and Craig have all snapped Rockman forks at the base of the steerer. I snapped mine in 12 weeks

aener
You'd be crazy not to get Trialtechs.
dave33
Trialtechs, paint them silver if you want silver. Rockman spade snap clean off- not crack
bing
Trialtechs ive seen a couple of pictures of them going at the HS mounts, and a fair few of the rockmans dying at the steerer. The above problems could well have been cured by the latest iterations of both products both Neil's sets of trialtechs are cracked round the bottom of the brake mount. and he's quite a smooth rider
Alex Dark
both Neil's sets of trialtechs are cracked round the bottom of the brake mount. and he's quite a smooth rider Neil being Tunnicliffe? If so then its hardly suprising...
SamKidney
both Neil's sets of trialtechs are cracked round the bottom of the brake mount. and he's quite a smooth rider I know for a fact one set of them are second hand, are the others? Because his used set were around a year or so old before he had them. Talking about Neil Robinson, not Tunnicliffe.
p_ruskin
Have you ever heard of a broken Rockman Spade forks? Or Trialtech? After how much time and where? Thanks to all again Im pretty sure almost every pair of spade forks have broke, and most within a few months. The amount of trialtech forks that would have broke in comparison is tiny
