SunnyBoy
Hi all, Looking at a new rear hub (135mm) for singlespeed and saw the profile 6 speed cassette hub. Does anyone run one of these for trials - how are they? Apparently they're only suited for disc use only... Not sure how much notice I should take of that though. rupintart
If it's not the Elite hub, don't bother with purchasing one. While they're a really solid hub, they've been hit or miss with working for trials. You'll either have zero issue and it'll last forever or you'll have one that will fail after a couple months. The Elite hub on the other hand to date has had zero failures. I know a couple factory riders (the Profile factory is only 3 hours from my house) who also mess about on trials bike and have them on their bikes as well. One of them has an OG prototype from a couple years ago that hasn't even been serviced yet and it's running flawlessly.
SunnyBoy
Cheers for the reply! I'll have a look at the elite version. Might give the cassette a try if I can pick one up for cheap.
