dann2707
Fitting a new sprocket but think I won't be able to get away with the offset on this one. I probs should have checked mine first. Oops. Does mine look out now? Edited July 27, 2012 by dann2707

harmertrials
Looks fine to me. It's pretty hard to judge in a photo though. If its making a grinding noise it's out.
Jake.
It doesn't look bad, chains are able to go at an angle. If its more than 10mm out I'd start to get concerned. Have you measured how off it is?
dann2707
I see. Probs won't be able to get away with this sprocket then. Dangggg. Onza 12t sprocket 4 sail ne1More pic
Jake.
It's quite hard to tell in that picture but it doesn't look good lol, worst case scenario is chain snappier because I think there will be more stress on one side of the chain? And maybe the freewheel/sprocket wearing down differently. I'm not an expert on this, so wait for more peoples opinions before you do anything but if you can get a new rear sprocket to sort it out then by all means do it. Revolver
If it's quiet, it's fine, if it makes a load of clicking noises or crunchy noises, that's not good.
dann2707
Oh shit I should have said. I haven't put the new one on yet. This is how it is now. The new one has an offset.
Revolver
If anything maybe it needs to go away from the wheel.

monkeyseemonkeydo
Looks fine now to me. Could you run the offset sprocket back to front so it's closer to the hub flange? Looks like fitting it normally would result in problems...
Blake
Looks to me like the new sprocket would be fineFrom my savage skills, I drew this line to help, although the picture has your bike at a slight angle, so it should be okay?
stunt man t
move your BB in!! and DONT use that off-set sprocket because the chain will cut into the frame! Edited July 27, 2012 by stunt man t
