tomturd
Last minute warning sorry. We're going to be moving server this afternoon/tonight. Most of the preparation work is done (server set up, all the files are copied across - about 100gb, and the dj page and the wiki are already moved) So it might be offline for an hour or so; it depends how fast your ISP is at migrating DNS changes.. Bad timing but we have to be off this server by the 31st, and I'm not going to be around this weekend or most of next week, and Danny is only free tonight. Tomm
Is there an IP address we can use until the DNS sorts itself out?
tomturd
Not directly, but you could add this to your hosts file: 5.9.58.66 trials-forum.co.uk [/CODE] If you do that now though, you'll see an old copy of the DB, so give it a few hours
aener
Really? It'll be down for an hour, and you're asking for ways of getting around it?! Haha. That sounds like a very strong addiction
tomturd
Well, it *shoud* be an hour or so, no gaurantees, that bit is out of our hands

Tomm
Well, it *shoud* be an hour or so, no gaurantees, that bit is out of our hands Yeah, I remember a few years ago it took several days for the www.trials-forum.co.uk link to work. Anyway, looks like it wasn't a big problem this time.
tomturd
Yeah, those were the days when we knew even less about this sort of thing than we do now. "The internet" seems much faster at making these changes nowadays
