dannytrialskid
I had a Try-All freewheel on my Onza Skull a few years ago, skipped like crazy after like 1 month of riding. My friends Try-All skips like mad too, and now I have one on my Koxx Sky 2 and guess what? .. It skips like mad! It's proper scary when your going to gap, because you don't know if it will skip or not. Is there anything I can do to stop it from skipping or whatever? Haven't got the money to lash out for a new Echo SL one yet, and I'd rather buy something like that brand new!
N.Wood
I don't think you can turn it into a great freewheel, because they're not. Might be worth trying to clean it out with WD40 / GT85 as it could be the grease has seeped outta the bearings and is sticking the pawls down. Not sure you can take them apart - Arn't they welded? Can't remember off the top of my head. Worth a try anyways.

CalRobbo341
Try-All 108.9? I bought one off here, claims it was 2 weeks old, just bedded in looked hardly used, sent to Tarts to get it fitted ect, mine is fine atm, sounds great, no skips, runs freely, I didnt want to buy a SL as I got mixed up with the reviews off of Tarts again, was looking at the wrong product ¬¬ how old is yours? Blake
surely if they skip there's enough engagements that you'll barely notice? My friend has one that skips very often (he's brakeless, but does sidehops/gaps like flipp does) and all that happens when it skips is the noise, because there's so many other engagements to fall back onto. . . Not sure how old it is. And I am guessing it skips, because when I put pressure on the drivetrain it makes a big clunk sound, exactly how it did on my old freewheel and my friends one. When it happens the pedal moves down a little so I guess it is skipping engagements. Happened with my last one too, haven't sprayed it with WD40 / GT85 yet though.
