Frame: Echo Vs Neon Vs Rockman

Right i'm looking for a new frame, in the next week or 2, and i'm not really sure about what the frames are like.

i have a budget of £300

As you all probably know, i have a mod limey 320, the bike feels a nice geo.

so i was looking at this

I've heard bad things about RockMan, people say they snap/crack easy, is this true ?

The whole rockman thing is a stereo type.

My mate has had a Rockman Manus for the last 2-3 years and he rides elite.

1 of my other mates has a Rockman XL 26" and has had that for about 1 year and still like a brand new frame.

It's not a stereotype, I think that on balance Rockmans fail more often that Echo for example. Then again Rockman also have some strong frames in their line up. Personally I'd go for the Echo because it's pretty much perfect in every respect other than appearance. It's just a simple frame that is designed to do it's job as well as possible.

iain archibald had his rockman slate for over 2 years but my cousins kortz lasted 2 months and his slate 3 lasted half a year
