CalRobbo341
Don't know if you can read the description on your phone but two downers with this bike, 3 depending on where you live - Pick up only from Reading - Echo light forks - Fair condition although note there're cracks around each magura mount - Front wheel is a onza t bird 05 so it's quite old, barings in the hub need replacing and it has had 5 medium grinds on it Cracks are always bad, so you will need to change the forks, and also an open bearing hub is useless, especially if it is 5 years old! Cheap though, geat geometry, so yeah, if you have money to get forks and a front wheel, go for it! EDIT - And the grps look a little tatty, so new ones of them would be in order. Leeeeee
I got money for new parts just wondered if it was worth £370 for its current condition ? And I'm a newbie so need the advice lol
ogre
the onza frame is really good, my friend loved his, and he abused it for 2 years, it's got many cracks but it's still holding together. i have a t-bird wheel i'd do for a £5er and postage if you'd like... work out a reduction for the forks being cracked if you can.. and go for it, presuming it has a high EP freewheel it's worth buying. CalRobbo341
Engagement Point, how many clicks basically.
ogre
how nooby an explanation do you need? high ep freewheel is something like the echo/rockman/trialtech 108 freewheels. the number signifies the number of engagement points or 'clicks' you hear when you rotate the freewheel's teeth 360, the more engagements the more frequent they are and as a result the bike feels more responsive as your power will go straight through instead of that bob where nothing happens with cheaper freewheels. it's easier to feel the difference than talk about it. TheLeroyHUK
This is wayyy to expensive in my opinion, there's a comp at that price and a bionic
howvard
This bike is an amazing ride, and frame is like new, great owner, really decent guy and smooth rider, shame he's selling really! But in my opinion, the bike is a decent buy and loook at them brakes!!! Super cool, some of the best raceline levers i've seen around
isitafox
£400 for a bike with a shot front wheel and cracked forks is a bit steep as your already looking at spending at least £100 to get it what I would class as rideable, and even if it as good a condition as the owner says it's not worth £500.
