williams
hi all! Im basically looking on a new rear rim for my MOD bike. I wan't it quite light but cheap as in trying to shed some weight of it. Is the monty 221 rear 19" a good rim for grinds?
isitafox
Sacrifice a few more grams and get an Echo TR, the finest rim in the world for grinds
dann2707
Or go all out for the onza pro diamond and experience a lack of gravity, it's such a bouncy rim!

Isn't that like one of the worst rims to use with a grind? It looks quite good though..
dann2707
I'm not sure, it's pretty new so wouldn't know. It's also super light.

Like that the material is shite and holds grinds for like a day or something... Do you know anything about the monty rim?
isitafox
Without trying to sound rude you asked for advice on a good rim, you have been given advice on 2 rims and your still asking about the Monty one. In my book that means that you really want the Monty rim and are just waiting for someone to comment on it to justify to yourself that it's worth buying. Therefore just buy the Monty rim, you won't feel satisfied if you get something else trust me!
dann2707
I'm afraid I dont man, only that I don't really rate monty stuff. Much better stuff out there for the money imo.

Yeah I'm sorry, but I actually asked if the monty one where good not for advice on other rims, therefore the name of the topic "is this rim good". I just wanted to know if it where a good rim or not. Im probably going to buy the Echo Tr rim at the end of the day because I know it's a really good rim!
isitafox
This is true, but it'd be a bit poor if everyone just left a reply saying no it's crap then you had to start another topic asking what rim you should get. Not saying you would have but how was I to know?!
