I am a comp rider brad. unless I'm missing the sarcasm here

There was no sarcasm, that was the point...

drove to Europe and found some amazing things to ride, I'm quite happy with that.

Ooh, forgot to mention, i made it to Radfest and back in one piece, and got 6th in the comp, thats an achievement...

I think my biggest 'riding' achievement the past month would have to be merely coming up with a concept for my GETcreative vid. Now all I've got to do is learn how to ride and film... Hmmm.

Don't think it's an accomplishment but managed to brake a tyre :L I think, if i'm not wrong there is a wire running through the edge of the sidewall? If not then something is reaaaly wedged in there. Had to put an old half slicked tyre on... Will there be a way to 'fix the old tyre?

EDIT - Forgot to put the pictures up?!

Best off just buying a new one, there only like £20

Today was my first time trying to learn to sidehop to my left with right foot forward as i was told i could go higher this way. It took a while getting used to it. But They were right i sidehopped 41" 4 times today my highest before this was 39" struggling and not consistently. But now i feel going to the left it does not take as much energy and i am sure i can go even higher than 41" consistently.

Thats by biggest accomplishment this month.

Winning.

Sidehopped just under bar height on the rear wheel,

8ft gap to front

drop gap across 10ft

8 and a half ft static gap

45" rolling up to front

45" side to rear

47" up to rear.

And being generally smoother over all!

Onto bigger and better things next month with my new rig!

was riding hull on Saturday with a few lads, did my biggest 180 drop off I've ever done and 180'd down a flight of 4 steps to floor, in front of a sizeable crowd of people

  • 2 weeks later...

finally learnt how to pedal kick properly, instead of booning. with a little help and guidance from dann2707. turns out I had the timing all wrong, watched a before and after video of me doing it. just need to learn how to control it properly now, I'm still a bit rough. anyone who knows me knows I've been struggling to learn this for a while
