ghostrider88
I think you're missing my point. Not really, you want the bleeding port to be at the very top,so any air can get out through it and won´t stay caught inside
Blake
and the bleed port is at the side of the 04, how do I angle it so air is not trapped anywhere else?
Rowlly21
Mine is an 04 lever. Just had the lever at a 45degree angle to the bar and it worked perfect !! Only problem is a week or so later its coming into the bar again !!!
bing
if it was leaking, it would take a lot less than a week with regular riding. you sure it's not a piston moving in the clamps? just wondering like even when mine leaked(loose crossover) it took about 27 seconds for the lever to come right back to the bar, with water leaking straight onto my rim Edited August 2, 2012 by bing
SamKidney
It can take over a week. Ants 04 is leaking from the lever piston and takes roughly a week and a half to become unusable.
onza pro series guy
and the bleed port is at the side of the 04, how do I angle it so air is not trapped anywhere else? basic hydralics, it's not being grav-bled so it won't matter? williams
I have had the same problem, and the way to temporary get the "air away" IE not feel it in the lever, where to use the tpa. When I where out riding today I felt that the brake where really spongy, So I started to look at the lever and when I pushed in the lever water leaked, It haven't done this before so It broke today. The more I pushed the more came out. So my point is that you maybe have a damaged lever or a leak or piston, yeah you get it. Just saying
