Davetrials
Me and some mates are looking at a today lash up, weve done Amsterdam, Paris. Dublin is an option but the drinking cost is literally scaring the sheet out of me, we could do a couple of citys over 2, maybe 3 nights and find some hotels, trying to avoid Edinburgh as mike(sexymike) is heading there end of the month, so guys gimme your recomendations of your best nights out in or at least very close to England? also, if anyone has had a good few nights in dublin id love to hear about it, and find out how much it actually cost! also, im trying to keep the whole price, travel hotel alcohol under £300, thanks guys! isitafox
You'll not manage that in Dublin, well, not if you drink like me anyway! Good nights out personally would be, in no particular order, Newcastle, Leeds (I love Leeds), Doncaster, Whitley Bay, Chesterfield and Sheffield though a lot of what makes the night out is the crack you have with your mates (which is how Donny got in there!) dann2707
Depends what sort of scene you like? Leeds is amazing, Space on a Tuesday is always a guaranteed winner. Although now that it's not uni term time it could be a bit dead? I'm not sure though as i've never been nowish. Tiger tiger in leeds is a bit boring. Favesham is incredible (set out like an American house party like one you would see in American pie), I think that's on a Thursday but it has been ages since I last went. Its usually just space tues lol. Wakefield, Havana on a monday is a popular one and was on a TV police program showing binge drinking haha. My friend ended up on it at the end lol. But it's full of faggots wearing their tshirts down to their nipples, who have "swag" haha etc. The queue is absolutely massive though. I was at uni in Sheffield for a year and that's my favourite night out i'd say, Corporation is so f**king dirty and seedy but it's mega cheap and the music is so good. Wednesday is student disco so shirt and ties. If you like a relatively clean club then Plug is an ok alternative but no where near as fun as Corp. I've never been out of the country for a night out so that's all I know of haha. Also York is boring, it's just pubs and one decent club - tokyos. Last time we were there it was great though I put that down to the snorkel and funnel we were using to drink from!
