HippY
Ever considered a headset to plug into the phone if you're making that many calls? no, I did not, I have earphones with micro, but it is just plain horrible I have a friend with Windows phone, and he told me that it is surprisingly good! My only problem is that there are no real flagship Nokia phones, and the camera does not really matter for me

MEEEE. cant wait for the mods. I seen a graphics comparison pic from the trailer of the xbox 360 vs next gen/pc, looked 1000 times better
JT!
I'm really looking forward to it, I just hope they don't throw a $60 price tag on it though. Just gotta hope my GTX 650 Ti can handle it.
Blake
Need to upgrade everything for that Luckily a friend on facebook has priced me up an insane build for like £

JT!
Really? That sucks. What kind of card do you think will with average settings?
Muel
I was only pulling your leg haha. For a single monitor a 650ti should return playable frame rates at low-medium settings.
JT!
Haha ok then. I know its a decent card, but I thought with it being released alongside the ps4/xboxone versions the game might have been in a different league.
Muel
I've heard the graphics are pretty hard work but if you just turn the settings down a bit it'll be alright I'd imagine.Problem I have is that realistically, to play it spanning 3 monitors at decent settings I need SLI GTX770s, which is going to cost £600-700, which I don't want to spend. If I would be you, I would look at the r9 290, they are decent cards for 4k, and probably multi monitor but with a gtx 770 you could play on 3 monitor setup, but not in EXTREME ULTRA TEXTURE MODDED gta 5 probably But my biggest problem with gta 5 is the port. at GTA 4, it was one of the worst port that I have seen, even back then, when it came out, `08, I had a decent config, that played most of the games 60 fps in high, the GTA 4 was 20-30 fps on medium
weirdoku
I've been waiting for GTA V on PC since forever. My 2 660 superclockeds should be able to run it on high ish settings I guess?

AndrewEH1
Bit of a bump for this thread... I'm looking to build a new gaming PC after several 'incidents' with my one which was a big tower that I built way back in 2008. I'm thinking about going small with either Micro ATX or preferably a Mini ITX. Anyone willing to help spec me something for around £500-800? Probably going down the Intel + NVIDIA road. forteh
I just built a new machine for my step mother in law (she's a photographer and needed a new pc whilst knowing nothing about them). Got it all from ocuk and cost 760 quid for the following: - i5@4.2ghz 8gb ram 240g ssd 2tb 7200rpm hdd antec case + 650w psu legal copy of windows7 ditch the copy of windows and put the money towards a gpu and you're laughing as long as you can keep the chip cool enough in the smaller case
AndrewEH1
What about graphics? I'm guessing there are some size limitations compared to an ATX case?
forteh
Not too sure to be honest, I think ocuk state the maximum size gpu that the case will fit on the website.
HippY
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/VYpWJx the intel CPU+cooler+oc= win for cheap 750ti , cheap, decent performance, £60 cheaper than the 760 (mini) 8 GB ram (I use 4 GB tops, have 8 GB) SSD+HDD combo ( I just chose a random HDD for the price, but SSD is dead on) good mobo for OC case good power supply (400w is around... 3 times bigger you would need, lol) £551 Edited August 18, 2014 by HippY
AndrewEH1
Cheers for the advice, I'm going to have a good look at cases first to make sure a half decent graphics card will fit with decent airflow.
HippY
Cheers for the advice, I'm going to have a good look at cases first to make sure a half decent graphics card will fit with decent airflow. what does half decent means? 750ti is decent enough (for £120 segment for this budget) and has something like 60w tdp, that means it does no need additional power (although the aftermarkets include them, but for OC only) and needs really small fan/heatsink (look at the reference design or at the non ref designs!) The decent watercooler will bring the heat out easily, without obstructing anything I will look for some cases as well for you, work is boring
trialingtank
I'm looking forwards to GTA5 for the PC My system should run it fairly well, but I can always OC a bit if needed My system specs: i5 3570k @3.4Ghz (K spec so unlocked multiplier ) - Watercooled with AIO unit for the moment. 16GB RAM Factory OC'ed ATI 7950 High end Asus motherboard (fantastic for OC) 120Gb SSD main drive Its a good 18 months old now, but still runs newer games flat out
isitafox
Need some help, my laptop is knackered! The cable connecting the internal hard drive is faulty meaning my laptop only boots up 1 out of 25 or so attempts. Is it possible to put the hard drive in an external case, connect it via usb and boot up that way? I only want it running long enough to transfer all my music (about 6500 files) from iTunes to Google Play Music as I can copy the rest of the pics/vids using it as an external drive when I get a replacement. forteh
Why not slave it onto a normal pc via sata, set it as the boot drive and transfer the stuff that you need?

When it's in the external case it'll just act as a standard USB device no? So you can then set your boot options to USB as primary and it might boot?
