F.N.G
If my first beginner bike was a stock, I would of chose this! Looks really nice but I still have never ridden one
Jake.
I'm guessing 10-10.5kg. Nice starter bike

Gandalf the Yellow
they do look great, but the weight and geo put me off them. but a lovely starter bike, loads of heavy parts though so I guess it'll be a little heavy, but if you think it's light then that's all it matters. you want a nice sturdy bike to bash around then you can eventually upgrade to lighter parts as your riding progress. Culshaw95
Ah i use to have one of these but had to change a few things on it for the short stem gave me back problems haha but other than that its a great bike to start on it was the one i started on
Wozzerwozzee
I'm looking at a new stem as we speak, then, when funds allow, I'll look at new bars. Any suggestions, I've been looking at the trial tech forged stem at Tarty, 125 x 25 degrees I think. What are the heavy parts on the bike, what should I be looking at changing first ? Cheers Warren Edited July 13, 2012 by Wozzerwozzee
Jake.
Wheels, and find a stem/bar you're comfortable with (as a beginner you won't know too well, but as you progress and try out different bars you will). Eventually get a better frame/forks/drivechain
Luke Dunstan
Looks awesome, I remember my first bike was a Raleigh Urban Swamp with DDG Orbita cranks. Things have advanced since then a bit!
