the mysterious leemur
Wtf, that's like nearly vertical?! All the guys I ride with that use blades/comps have really low lever angles , like vertical Edited July 12, 2012 by the mysterious leemur
robintrial
Wtf, that's like nearly vertical?! yes it is steep but i'm 6.2feet tall and my chest is flush with the beginning of the stem so it's normal, i think it's not as radical as jack carthy's bar and lever combination and on the back wheel it feels good everyone has their own preference, keep that in mind Edited July 12, 2012 by robintrial
dann2707
Never considered your height yeah, i'm only a wee nipper so I have them nearly horizontal haha
robintrial
Never considered your height yeah, i'm only a wee nipper so I have them nearly horizontal haha if someone else rides my bike they can't find a posible way to brake and often they can't even reach the lever but if the levers are near horizontal i get the most anoying cramps in my wrist i just set everything on my bike to the point that it's comfortable for me
SamKidney
Horizontal brakes are ace. Easier to reach when tucking for mega sideways bounces.

robintrial
Only if you're a d-warf it just looks stupid too how do you use your rear wheel if the levers are pointing to the sky?
