Lewis Gething
Do everyone a favour and put a space after the full stop after cheers (turns it into a hyperlink) As far as the tyres, I think that although they are lightweight, they won't be any good due to the use of a hard compound rubber and ancient tread pattern
Dave Sutton
That looks to wide to be a front 20" wheel to me.
Mark W
Those are pretty much made out of tarmac. They're the same as the Echo tyres, so they're a really, really hard compound. If you just want a light tyre then I guess you could go for it, but the Eagle Claw Pro Race tyres are 787g (according to our scales), have a softer compound and a slightly nicer tread pattern (I used to run Eagle Claws and cut them so they had a similar tread - not keen on the usual 'blocky' tyres). Alternatively, the Stiky Lite's a good shout.

stunt man t
Now... will you be getting any other new Monty products (aspart from the M5).. Stems, pedals, handle bars etc as there isnt much on the Tartybikes website and there is a few new bits on the Monty website
Mark W
I don't think we're getting too much of their new stuff, really. A lot of it is just re-branded stuff but with pretty massive price tags. For example, their normal aluminium bars tend to be well over £70 and their standard caged pedals are around £60 (but weigh more than the Echo TR Caged pedals, Try-All single cages, etc.). the mysterious leemur
I try and stay away from monty products normally as for the quality of them they seem pretty overpriced like bars are about £70-80 when stuff from Trialtech , Echo , TryAll ect is cheaper , tends to be lighter and from my experience stronger. I must say though the eagle claw tyres are pretty impressive. ** Just saw Mark's post , damn 3g** Edited July 12, 2012 by the mysterious leemur
