Kieran Morrison
Ive recently switched from a normal rim to an angled (tapered) rim with a medium grind (not sharp) and my brake is shocking because not even half touches the rim and I'm wondering how long roughly it should take for the pads (lgms) to wear at the angle of the rim (onza diamond) generally just doing tgs moves. Might be a stupid question haha, any help appreciated

CalRobbo341
I don't know how long it will take but you can slightly wear the pad down - [media=] 3 minutes onwards. EDIT - ^^ Edited July 10, 2012 by CalRobbo341

harmertrials
Use anything, a file, sandpaper. We actually grinded a pad down out of the car door once in a car park holding it on the floor.

Martin Reynolds
or put a harsh grind on your rim and drag your back brake? at least that way it'll wear to the correct angle and bed in at the same time.

"real" cousts, htsnk yellows, rockman blue, tnn beleays. didn't work. the rim is made for disc brake, and the aluminium is shit.
