trialsiain
i dont think thats the problem though it locks the brake and then keeps on goin a bit
SunnyBoy
^ As above, looks like it needs a bleed I know it's a HS11 but the bleeding process is pretty similar to the HS33: i dont think thats the problem though it locks the brake and then keeps on goin a bit Sometimes it can have just a little air in the system so locks a little but at the furthest compression remains spongy. Dave Sutton
You can get a better bleed with a bleed kit instead of a bath bleed. Edited July 3, 2012 by Dave Sutton

I'm aware of that - same concept, just different lever and slave design. Edited July 3, 2012 by SunnyBoy
bing
do it with the syringe in a sink full of water. best of both worlds and no air can get in. do it until no air comes out. best way I found was to pop the piston out of the lever first. then once all the air stops coming out build it up under water. works every time for me, brakes are solid Edited July 4, 2012 by bing
trialsiain
hey when you bleed and have tpa fully off when you pull brake after bleeding should it need half a lever pull before pistons come out ?

dann2707
It's easy to bath bleed. Man up and keep trying haha. I bet you're doing the process of covering up the holes wrong. Watch revolvers guide properly. I got it first time and I've been dropped on my head shit load of times when I was younger.
Revolver
hey when you bleed and have tpa fully off when you pull brake after bleeding should it need half a lever pull before pistons come out ? TPA needs to be all the way out. If it's 2011 brake, you need to undo the hose a few threads, 3 is it?

Your brakes have always been rock solid. I just assumed your setup was stiffer, but my bleeds just might be a little worse :') can you bleed them with milk ? bing
So thats how you do it! Your brakes have always been rock solid. I just assumed your setup was stiffer, but my bleeds just might be a little worse yeah , this method has never let me down, I push water through with the syringe first, then suck it back through the other way. on my Ashton I did use an evo 2 mount, which is effectively a 4 bolt booster behind with a 2 bolt one on top. not running a booster on the inspired, and my brake is amazing, and solid. got heatsink red pads in tnn backings now
