Carlperkins
Ok so i have 2011 mugura slaves on an echo tr lever. Aparently the echo levers leak.. I have had the brake for ages with royal blood bleed but as i didnt have any i did a water/antifreeze 50:50 mix bleed. Where do the levers normally leak? Just wanting to know where i should look or what i should look out for
onza pro series guy
Around the piston/seal, that's where my SL leaked from, like actually from the barrel if you know what I mean? isitafox
Yup as above though you should be okay with a 2011 lever and a brake fluid bleed though I had an SL on water and it was fine
mike
I just bled my Echo TR brake with water and anti-freeze mix and it is leaking from the bleed screw on the slave. I'm going to try a copper washer and see if it sorts it. but it doesn't seem to be leaking from the lever piston but could be because i can't put any pressure through it yet... It tnat's not work - maybe you need to polish brake lever inside.
SamKidney
Replacing the Echo O-ring for the magura alternative solves it apparently. As for the bleed port, I think I read that using a magura grub screw stops that.
Carlperkins
this is from ages ago? anyway my brakes sorted now. the lever was leaking from somewhere, (i never found out where) i just re-bled with royal blood, brakes a beast, no leakes = win!
