tomturd
Anyone know how to do this? In photoshop you get the 'inside, center, outside' options for stroke, with Illustrator it seems it'll only do it on the inside
Miss-Higgy
try swapping your colour swatches round there's the one with the centre colour missing try having that at the back with the colour you want selected. I think this is what you mean, still learning the program myself.
tomturd
Doh, thats sounds a lot easier than what I ended up doing Did one layer with white text and did effect > path > offset path. Put in the number of px stroke I wanted. That gives you white text with a white stroke - so it looks like one big blob of white. Then I added another layer on top of that with the same text, this time in the correct colour. There's loads to learn in this program, used it about 5 years ago but I've forgotten everything
club_card
Go to window>stroke and the stroke panel should come up on the right hand side if its not there already, then there should be 3 little buttons one is for outside stroke the other inside stroke and the last one i cant remember i'm abit drunk, make sure you have the word selected and click inside stroke that should do it. Sorry for bad spelling I(should be an apostrophy here i cant find the button) m on my phone.
