Pete.M
So jealous, really liking both your bikes. Blog looks pretty good now, I'd maybe adjust the positioning of some items to make it sort of cleaner. That's just my initial thought, and maybe that's not what you're going for. Will be cool to see what you come up with for the next video.
isitafox
I like it all shiny though I'm afraid I'm not a fan of the tanwalls, what bars and stem are you running as there doesn't seem to be much height up front?
Miles Mallinson
Looks nice Miles. I hope you are going to do a Video for the GET comp! Yep I have a few ideas for it I like it all shiny though I'm afraid I'm not a fan of the tanwalls, what bars and stem are you running as there doesn't seem to be much height up front? I am kind of undecided about the tan walls as well, they are great tyres and are pretty tough going to find some KRads. It's a bbb 70x35deg stem and inspired bars with a 10mm spacer, could do with a bit more height but it feels alright.
Skoze
Tan walls are swag. Like it. Agree ont hé more bar height thing, especially seeing as it's an older frame but it's looking pretty good! As said, GETcreative
Miles Mallinson
Just bought some KRADs , not as slick looking as the supermotos but they are better for sliders and such. I thought it were pretty high! obviously not I will need to get some new forks anyway seeing as i just cut the brake mounts off these and they have massive dents near the crown. CalopS
I thought it were pretty high! obviously not I've got 45mm of stackers on mine Miles
Miles Mallinson
That's probably why I can't control manuals for poop, will need some newun's.
Skoze
Au contraire my good man, switching from again around 50mm stackers and a 90x35* stem to about 45mm with a 70x25* on the Leeson was one of the best things i've done - you can push it too far without really noticing so it's definitely worth playing around. Then again your frame's a mile longer than mine... Get some inspired forks on the go, keep the steerer full length and go for it! alanczik
i have 2 questions.. 1- will you recomend the slx crank set? 2- over trialtech armes with 22 sprocket ? (and an ok bb like theTrialtech Race) Edited July 4, 2012 by alanczik
Miles Mallinson
I do recommend the slx cranks and I also recommend trialtechs, I would say the trialtechs are stiffer but work out to be more expensive.
Miles Mallinson
Got some KRADs. Just purchased some new forks so the bar height will be the same as you low bar haters soon.
