CalRobbo341
You would be better buying a second hand bike from the forum, or an auction site, you would probably end up upgrading alot of parts on the Onza so it would make more sence to get a better specced second hand bike, again from the forum. miketrials1995
Well I would prefer to buy new but not sure on the quality of the bike does it break easily
Luke Dunstan
For a beginners bike that'd be perfect. As already said though if you were to go for the second hand option you would get a far better bike.
miketrials1995
Im just thinking abt my height im 5ft 9 would it still be ok
Luke Dunstan
Should be fine, height makes little difference between mod/stock as the distance between the pedals and the bars is the same. I rode a mod for a while and I'm over 6ft 2. I had no issue apart from my frame being too short.

Luke Dunstan
For £400, you won't get a better new bike. I see that you probably want a new bike, and I think gradually upgrading the parts is the way to go. You'll learn more about the bike that way. However, if you look hard enough you may find an ornament bike. Someone like me would build a spanking bike then not ride it for months on end and sell it for a fraction of what it's worth. I'd say don't rush in, just have a look around first and see what you can find.

Luke Dunstan
Unfortunately not, I left when I was younger and started trials 2 years after leaving. Castle Point in Falmouth should be pretty decent for rocks.
ogre
you'll want some performance vee pads and a trials freewheel and it'll be fine, i started on a t bird with no difficulties... the main need is the freewheel and pads. the tensile 60 click is excellent value, and so are heatsink pads...
