N.Wood
I put them on dry. I use a trackpump and a friend to plug the end of the grip, pump air into the other side of the bar, air escapes betwen grip and bar creating space, then you can push them on.
SunnyBoy
I use either the pump method or add a dab of water then roll the grip inside out to dry it once it's on.

harmertrials
I just go for 2 squirts of aftershave, dries pretty much instantly and glides on. That's with foams though.
forteh
Run a few drops of petrol through the grip, make sure it coats all of the inside and slide it on bars before it evaporates
trialsiain
if its foam i fill it with water with bar cap on take it off and quickly slide it on

Mikee
With foam grips I use water to get them on and off. Very quick and easy, just have to leave it to dry for 20 minutes or so before it can be ridden.
cai
Slide them on as far as you can dry, then using your palm hit the end of the grip to slide it on further 'till it's flush with the end of the bar. Works every time for me and the grips never move afterwards, only downside is you either have to roll you grips off or cut them off..
