harmertrials
Jesus, I thought your GU was heavy and I was expecting to see some lighter bikes. Disappointed. Haha steady jake a little harsh? Ha Ash I'd drop those revell pedals, I used to run them, they're a weighty bugger. I'm surprised the gu's as heavy as it is. If you can ride it, RIDE IT YO

If you can ride it, RIDE IT YO was a weirdly harsh comment haha as for the pedals, i love having big platforms, and the only others i have found are these which with a ti axle are insanely light. just cant afford them yet haha

isitafox
Ash how do the Echo brakes hold up on the marino?
Ash-Kennard
front or rear? because both are good. but the marino needs cnced pads right now because my old cousts are flexy as shit. but the front brake is excellent. really surprised at the performance
isitafox
Front really, got bb7s for my fourplay for comps be the rear drags and pumps my arm really bad so gonna buy some hydraulics. Love your marino by the way! Will have to get out for a street sesh sometime.
Ash-Kennard
sounds good, infact ive just been playing with it. it is now polished up, the lacquer is drying now, its taken some of the shine off, which is a shame, but hopefully will look better after its had a small rub down. also black nail varnished all the welds, because the steel welds are soo small it was impossible to get the original crap out so i just covered it up haha. looks kinda cool. also got a nice carbon stem on it now and another front tyre. hopefully should shed some weight and i intend to roll the bars back and bash a spoke tensioner on there too. GU is ready for radfest. got a light weight front tyre, which i might put on. but dunno yet.

Ash-Kennard
Did you get a Top Gear cake at some point by any chance? I got a load of them stickers on mine why yes i did, for my 19th loved it all. anyhow, bike update. done the marino for now, until i can afford more, there will be more updates to the GU very soon. Marino updates include: Polished frame, complete with black nail varnish over the welds, and lacquer on top to prevent the inevitable rust Spoke tensioner. Holyroller front tyre Nice light FSA stem Carbon spacers all for free and saved around 400g very pleased. anymore suggestions welcome
