dann2707
Wire wool might remove the oxidation?
ghostrider88
Wire wool might remove the oxidation? I´m not sure weather it´s oxidation really,it´s more like color fading issue so wire wool won´t help.I might be wrong though. Alex Dark
if it's faded I doubt anything will get back the lustre... either strip them raw or leave them I'd say

Works well on my tyres anyway..

cai
Well the only way to really get his cranks black again is to respray them, I was just suggesting something that might work.
Matt Vandart
are they anodised?
Greetings
Yeah they would have been anodized. I've come across quite a few different black Echo parts from brake levers through clamps and cranks that have gone bronze or even gold over time. There's nothing you can do about it apart from maybe painting them again? Although that will rub off and you'll end up with dirty shoes. dave33
They have been exposed to direct sunlight and faded, seen some forks the other day like that
SamKidney
Strip em silver. Ive decided to go silver for this reason. Faded/ scratched parts look awful, so Im having a fully shiny bike.
