tomturd
Does anyone here own a printer/cutter? And does anyone know what its called when the sticker somes sandwiched between the backing paper and a piece of paper? Errr... difficult to explain, one of those stickers where all of the letters are stuck to a bit of paper. So you peel away the bit of paper away from the backing, and the letters come with it. Then you stick the letters to your car (or whatever), then you peel away the paper from the letters. Does that make sense? :/
isitafox
I don't but a friend of mine does signwriting and banners for a living, and I assume you mean stickers like this http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/stickers/tartybikes_vinyl_stickers/c30p11790.html
tomturd
Yep! Those are the ones. Last time I had tartybikes stickers they were printed on transparent vinyl rather than cut, but that was a loooooong time ago.
isitafox
I only knew about these as I got a set with my new frame the other week! May I enquire why you want info on said stickers? TF merchandise??
tomturd
You got it. Although it does mean having to change the logo as the current one won't be cuttable so it'll probably be a while yet, especially taking into account previous attempts to sort out a new logo
weirdoku
Are we getting TF stickers then?
tomturd
Eventually, hopefully. Its been a plan for the past... 10 years the difference is now we (TF) has some money to actually spend on them so me and danny won't have to fund it ourselves, so there's a much better chance it'll actually happen now
isitafox
I reckon a moded version of the current logo incorporating the sprocket would be do-able to a degree though I suppose in the end it comes down to size. Have you looked at something along the lines of Trials-Forum.co.uk with ¾ of a sprocket going around the T at the start? EDIT: One dodgy paint scribble later and oila Edited June 17, 2012 by isitafox
Miss-Higgy
Have a chat with Nadine Staniforth she works at a vinyl sticker printing place and should be able to do you a good price on them Or do you want me to ask her?

Have you looked at something along the lines of Trials-Forum.co.uk with ¾ of a sprocket going around the T at the start? EDIT: One dodgy paint scribble later and oila Its actually surprisingly difficult to do that but make it look good, I dunno how the one up there works, trying to replicate it but update it to 2012 style just doesn't seem to work Not sure what it is exactly but it seems unbalanced or something. here is a photoshopped attempt Have a chat with Nadine Staniforth she works at a vinyl sticker printing place and should be able to do you a good price on them Or do you want me to ask her? Cool, thanks. That could come in handy. I'll get in touch with her when everything is sorted some more ideas logo square logo square coloured logo bulge
dann2707
I prefer the very top on, that's spaced out like the one on the website. Although all of them look awesome and I can't wait to see/get them.
Miss-Higgy
If you get nadine to do them for you, she will want them in adobe illustrator in ai files as thats what the printer supports. She's doing mt BBT ones for me And i like the plain square logo, nice and clean. P.S Will you be getting any printed in pink?
isitafox
I reckon the top and bottom ones looks unbalanced as the sprocket looks like it's at an angle whereas the middle 2 look fine as it appears to be square on with the writing. Design looks good though, need the forum title to match it now!
Revolver
This one for me.

Design looks good though, need the forum title to match it now! i agree. I don't think we'll change the logo any time too sooooooon - you know how long things take to change around here This one for me. Same here. It has the advantage that if we ever get the trialsforum.co.uk domain back then people can peel off the dash on the sticker EDIT: although it doesn't fit the forum header very well

Luke Rainbird
Logo design aside, get in touch with Jonny Jones - pretty sure this is the sort of thing that he's doing now and I'm relatively confident that he'd be able/happy to help

I like the logo but looks like there's too much white space next to it before the advert. Also I think the blue borders are too blocky, looks good in the 5.0 one with the slight fade to it. TrialsIsHard
The square logos look very 'chain reaction cycles', I know how we hate stealing fonts and logos on here (A)
